Due to all of our products being free from all petrochemicals, parabens, sulphates, preservatives, artificial fragrances and colours, our products are more susceptible to harmful bacteria growth if not handled correctly.

As a general guide, it is best to use organic skincare products within 6 months of opening however If you're opening the jar and constantly exposing it to oxygen, you may get less than 6 months.
Ways to prolong the shelf life of organic products;
- Don't ever dip dirty fingers in to products, not even clean fingers, use a spatula or a cotton ball and don't double dip
- Don't store your skin care in a hot and humid room
- Be mindful on when you started using your product and do not use any products that don't look right.
- Seed 2 Soil has formulated products using a blend of natural ingredients that preserve the shelf life for a period of up to 18 months (different shelf life for different products), however we cannot guarantee this as there are no chemical preservatives.
